Choosing a photographer for your wedding is never an easy task. Especially when you consider a wedding photographer will be one of the few people who will be by your side for the whole day, yet they are usually the only real stranger you tend to invite. Obviously you need to find someone you can trust and feel relaxed around. There are no second chances, each wedding is special and unique and when all eyes are upon you it is my job to see more clearly than anyone else, capturing real emotions as they unfold.
With over 20 years experience in the photographic industry, seven as an award winning photojournalist for a regional newspaper in Nottingham, I gained a broad ranging background in news, features, pr and commercial photography building a reputation for always being in the right place at the right time, experiencing just about every situation a photographer could possibly encounter learning that it is more important to click with people before you start clicking with the shutter of the camera.
When I'm not working as a wedding and commercial photographer, I share my life with my now grown-up children Rebecca and Nathan, best friend and long term partner "The Lovely Kate", an adorable chocolate Labrador called Woodstock and an intrepid black rescue cat called Alfie Doodlehoare. I have an enduring passion for my home town football club, Nottingham Forest, think I could play for England (at anything!) but most importantly to you I am passionate about wedding photography and creating beautiful images you will never forget.
